Mother Nature has not been very kind to the car show crowd in 2017 but that all seemed to change the second weekend in June. The cold, rainy weather and dismal forecasts gave way to a Saturday and Sunday of bright sunshine and temperatures rising into the high 80s and low 90s.

The 15th Annual Mohnton Navy Yard Car & Bike Show, an annual fund raising event promoted by the Mohnton-Cumru Lions Club, was held on Sunday, June 11. About 130 cars, trucks and motorcycles registered for the event and competed for trophies in ten classes in addition to the President’s Award and the coveted “Best of Show” honors.

This year’s winners were as follows:

Best pre-1948: Charlie Boyer - 1934 Ford 3-Window Coupe
